According to research, petrol and diesel powered vehicles and transportation system produced millions ton of carbon dioxide and Carbon monoxides. The combustion process that powers most cars produce CO2, which most climate scientists believe is a major causes of global warming. Most of the car use the internal-combustion engine, this type of engine mixes fuel with air and mixture burns when ignited, giving off large amounts of energy and leaving behind water vapor, carbon dioxide and other gases as waste products. These products mix with atmosphere air and cause air pollution.
